"Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlets are local shops which commercialize directly to final consumers products agreed beforehand by "Terroirs de Picardie".
The area dedicated to food products can't exceed 125 square meters. Exceptionally some shops with a bigger area could be subject to an agreement because of particular features.
These sales outlets are referenced for their commercial and professionnal identity so that producers and consumers can benefit from a point of sale of local products. Moreover the sales outlets are the ambassadors of the "Terroirs de Picardie" brand among their usual local suppliers in order to encourage them to join the "Terroirs de Picardie" dynamic set up at a regional level.
To be a "Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlet, the company must commercialize throughout the year or during the opening period of the shop (if seasonal shop) the products of at least 8 producers from Picardie and 20 different products agreed by "Terroirs de Picardie" (different in categorie not in weight).
The "Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlets will be highlighted through communications of the Promotion Committee such as paper-based (flyers, documents...), computer supports (websites, newsletters...) or fairs and shows.
"Terroirs de Picardie"will regularly transmit to the sales outlets the entire list of products which benefit from the "Terroirs de Picardie" agreement, the referenced category : "Terroirs de Picardie fermier, Terroirs de Picardie fermier –Bienvenue à la ferme, Terroirs de Picardie – Bio, Terroirs de Picardie-Artisanal ou Terroirs de Picardie" so that the concerned producers' or companies' and the "Terroirs de Picardie"agreed distributors' contact information.
The "Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlets will be able to :
- use the logo "Terroirs de Picardie"sales outlets on their trade documents (tariffs, delivery orders and bills), the advertisements and their vehicles.
- illustrate the pre-agreed "Terroirs de Picardie" products by using the "Terroirs de Picardie fermier, Terroirs de Picardie fermier –Bienvenue à la ferme, Terroirs de Picardie – Bio, Terroirs de Picardie-Artisanal ou Terroirs de Picardie" logos on their trade documents (tariffs, delivery orders and bills)
- in case where the ranges of products are made in the shop, placing the "Terroirs de Picardie" logo on the packaging will only be possible if all the products are agreed. Otherwise the logo will be put only on the concerned products not on the entire packaging.
The sales outlets will have to :
- Take note of the content of the "Terroirs de Picardie" charter in order to perfectly know the rules which prevail for the agreement of a product by the Agreement Committee,
- Note their belonging to the "Terroirs de Picardie" network with the help of an external identifier (sign, window-sticker...) given by the Promotion Committee,
- Promote the "Terroirs de Picardie" products by their clientele by any means particularly by transmitting the "Terroirs de Picardie" communication documents,
- Highlight the "Terroirs de Picardie" products by clearly identify themselves within their shop thanks to special "Terroirs de Picardie" promotional supports (counter displays, labels...)
- Support the promotional actions related to the "Terroirs de Picardie"sales outlets network,
-Communicate twice a year :
- the list of the agreed producers or distributors who provide their shop,
- the quantitative list of the "Terroirs de Picardie" agreed products sold throughout the year.
The "Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlets could be audited without warning. This audit could happen either first hand or through a presentation of the purchase invoices of the agreed "Terroirs de Picardie products.
Term of licence : The "Terroirs de Picardie" agreement for a sales outlet is valid for one year. Failing express denunciation three months before the agreement anniversary date, the agreement is renewed for one year.
Withdrawal of agreement : the agreement can be withdrawn by the "Terroirs de Picardie" Agreement Committee at any time in case of serious breach of the charter or misuse of the logos.
If a withdrawal is proposed to a"Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlet, this one will be able to be heard by the Management Board of the Promotion Committee before a decision is taken.
The withdrawal of agreement will be notified by registered letter with a request for acknowledgement of receipt.
Within 8 days following the reception of its agreement withdrawal, the "Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlet will have to :
- suppress the mention "Terroirs de Picardie agreed sales outlet" from all its commercial documents, vehicles or buildings.
- stop any communications related to its "Terroirs de Picardie" quality.
Contributions :
The contribution to the "Terroirs de Picardie" sales outlets network is €100 plus vat a year.
